IET Re-Engineering Project

The work of engineers is essential for the provision of products and vital services necessary for human beings and other living things. As a matter of fact, it is difficult (if not impossible) to imagine life without such facilities like; machines, buildings, hospitals, water collection and distribution systems, transport vessels, energy conversion/production plants and many others. Although many other professionals have a role in the initial and other stages, the physical creation, operation and maintenance of the hardware necessary for the production of these products and/or services is a monopoly of engineers. One may argue that after God had created the earth and all the living and non-living things in it, the work of further creation to sustain, save, protect and develop the God’s creation was passed over to the engineer.
